Increasing your physical activity

There are different types of physical activity that provide our bodies with different types of benefits. We invited Jodie Dakic, a women’s health physiotherapist, to describe the different types of physical activity that support women’s health.

Jodie has been involved in research that identifies barriers to participation in physical activity. Afterall, in 2019, the Australia Institute of Health and Welfare revealed that men were more likely to be physically active than women. Women face many barriers to participating in exercise. The first step in becoming more physically active is considering what is currently stopping you.
